To the shops – by dragster

The dude is barely 20. He is wearing a navy suit jacket, brown trousers and a white shirt – all from Savers in Sydney Road. His hair is cropped close, he has a three-day growth and he is barefoot. He rides a bicycle – a small dragster-style thing, a child's bike, possibly his own, salvaged from Mum and Dad’s garage in Vermont. He rides with sly abandon, no helmet, in the bike lane, on the wrong side of the road, along Albert Street.
